Swedish Massage

60 minutes: $100 plus GRT
75 minutes: $120 plus GRT
90 minutes: $140 plus GRT

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, and greater mobility and flexibility.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the bonds that exist between the fascia, muscles and bones. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body. Direct myofascial release is sometimes known as deep tissue work. Indirect release applies light pressure and gently stretches the fascia; this allows for increased blood circulation and relief from pain.  I often incorporate this modality in a Swedish style massage.

Biodynamic Craniosacral (SM)

60 minutes: $90 plus GRT

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle yet powerful technique that is effective in releasing tension and held patterns for neck and jaw pain, back pain, and mental stress (among other things).  It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine and around the skull.  In BCST we are trained to tune into the larger rhythms in the body too, they are known as the Tides.  This subtle yet profound therapy provides a very soothing and relaxing healing experience.  By working with the nervous system it helps with traumas be it from a recent event or from years prior, or from the stresses that add up in everyday life.

Thai Massage

90 minutes: $140 plus GRT

In a Thai massage I use my hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like postures and stretches. My clients say Thai massage is like having someone do yoga for them without doing any of the work.  No oil is applied, and you are fully dressed during the session, as well as being on the ground on a large cushioned mat.  Thai massage is great at relieving tension and stress, helping you feel relaxed yet energized, and you might feel a couple of inches taller by the end too.

Deep Hot Stone Massage

90 minutes: $160 plus GRT

I have been trained in the LaStone method which incorporate both hot basalt stones as well as cool marble stones.  A LaStone massage is one the most deeply relaxing massages for the body and mind.  Heat from the stones soothes tense muscles and dilates the capillaries, bringing fresh blood to the area, which means built-up elements like lactic acid are flushed away, while healing nutrients, oxygen and new tissue building blocks are brought in.  Heat is also shown to be comforting from a neurophysiological standpoint and allows for all of our stressors to decrease.  The cool stones help blood vessels to constrict, and when combined with the hot stones, a pumping action happens which further helps to increase oxygen into the tissues.  I use approximately 50 different stones in a LaStone massage.
