About Me

Hi, I'm happy you found your way to my website.  Please allow me to introduce myself and how massage and bodywork came into my life.  In 2007, I traveled to Thailand and grew not only my love of Thai food, but Thai massage.  Knowing that I was moving to Santa Fe, NM after my travels in Southeast Asia to attend the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts massage program, I decided that I should receive as much Thai massage as possible (for educational purposes of course), and that is where my love of Thai massage began.  This was a whole new way of working with the body that up until that point, I had never experienced.  I had received many table massages and considered it a part of my health routine, but this modality really woke me up to something different and new.  To be passively stretched for 90 minutes was eye opening!  In 2008, I moved to Santa Fe and completed NMAHA's 650 hour massage program, and from there went on to study Ortho-Bionomy and completed over 500 hours with Santa Fe's very own world class teachers, Christina Monte de Oca and Ursula Hofer.

Starting in 2011, I began working at Ten Thousand Waves Japanese Spa and Resort, and had the honor of working alongside some of my teachers and many talented and therapists.  (Side note: Did you know that Ten Thousand Waves requires their massage therapists to have double the CEUs which the state mandates?  They must have 16 hours of continuing education every year).  I truly believe that continual learning and growing is essential to my work.  Funny enough, but while working at the Japanese Spa, I found my way back to Thai massage.  I was lucky enough to learn and study Thai massage with Jane Omar, who was the lead Thai massage therapist at the Waves.  Jane had studied extensively in Thailand, and was very passionate about this modality and helped reignite my love for this style of bodywork.  I furthered my studies in 2013/14 by learning Biodynamic Craniosacral with the gifted Scott Zamrut here in beloved Santa Fe.

What fascinates me, is that there are so many modalities and ways of approaching the human body. I enjoy having different tools to help clients with their goals.
